Highlights from this Week:
Our New Teacher's Assistant, Ramsey
Our New Student, Kane
We found a frog and Caelan took careful care of him, leading the group to be nice and gentle (Bodhi will say HE found the frog and shared him. lol)
We played with big cars and chalk (Inspiration from Jay's love of trucks and cars)
We introduced the Silky Hens in our Little Yard Coop (Inspiration from Wyatt's love for eggs and chickens)
We built stronger bonds (Mireya and Cali, now "Sticker Sisters") (Rella disliking this...lol)
Robert and Henry back from Vacation, and EVERYONE is thrilled!!
Jack leading new games during lunch, mixing Tag and imaginative play
Mac and Wyatt wrestling in the dirt as fully natural athletes (Teacher Hannah right there, looking for any *Tap Outs*. lol)
Kate enjoying the edible Garden, plucking what's ripe and Kane learning the bitter way to wait until they're red and not green! Hahaha
The excitement and joy of the children coming in PJ's<333
STOMP ROCKETS were such a hit...
Teacher Ramsey Leading Art Club
Elijah's delightful Pumpkin Muffin Treat (Thank you, Sadie!!<3)

What is "Color Clash"? >>> Wearing as many colors as you can!
We don't trick-or-treat, but we will wear a costume on Thursday >>> That's awesome! The language Teacher Hannah is using is "Dress-Up Day". A day to dress-up in silly costumes with friends and be together<3

Teacher Hannah didn't get the chance to ask Bodhi's Mama yet<3
Here are the Notes I'm Thinking:
(add comments and questions to this blog so we can all have the clarity we need)
Everyone is Welcome (Siblings too!!)
This will mean we will need to be SUPER INTENTIONAL about Parking, so everyone Fits!
We will have our PotLuck in the Meadow, so please Bring a Blanket to sit on
We will play a game of "Pumpkin Relay" where we will form two groups. The teams will run to and from a cone, balancing a small pumpkin on a spoon. First team back, Wins! ***Also, it would be ADORABLE to have the Parents try this game too, so bring your inner-child to come along. This game will form a Forever-Memory for all the children<3
This is a "Bring your own Plate and Utensils" Party, But if someone wants to donate plates, cups, and utensils, that's cool too. (For example, Kelsey, Wyatt's Mama got some cute cat plates for the kids)
After the game, we sit, eat, and play in the Meadow.
I envision this time to be a Together-Time for the Adults to eat and converse, and the children to play together. We will hold the boundary to the Meadow so that Parents will feel comfortable for our littlest Schoolhouse Seedling Siblings to explore, freely.
The intention of this party is to celebrate together in our own beautiful way, during these Harvest days. If you have any questions, add them here to the blog for all the parents to read. I will respond today, and then Monday<3 (I am learning to practice separating work and weekends to be full present and capable for all your children. Thank you for supporting me in this as well!)
This took an hour to write! Hahaha! ...and I enjoyed every moment of it<3
If my heart were a vase that could hold all the love I feel for each of you, my vase would be endless<3
I am so grateful, happy, and passionate to have the Freedom to educate, celebrate, and grow within this intentional community. This space, this school, and this sense of Freedom wouldn’t exist without the vision, love, and dedication of Katie.
Thank you, Katie, for believing in this dream, for holding the space with so much care and intention, and for leading with your heart. Your love and light continue to shape everything we do, and I’m endlessly thankful to be part of it with you.
